Banda Aceh, May 4, 2026 – The Undergraduate Physics Study Program, Department of Physics, has successfully achieved the “Excellent” Accreditation status. This accomplishment reflects the study program’s strong commitment to continuously improving the quality of education, research, community service, and academic services.

The achievement is the result of strong collaboration, dedication, and collective effort from all members of the Department of Physics. The accreditation process involved the active contribution of the department leadership, accreditation document preparation committee, Academic Quality Assurance Team, lecturers, administrative staff, and the entire academic community of the Undergraduate Physics Study Program.

The Head of the Department, who also serves as the Head of the Undergraduate Physics Study Program, Dr. Saumi Syahreza, S.Si., M.Si., expressed his sincere appreciation to all parties who contributed to this achievement.

“On behalf of the Head of the Department and the Head of the Physics Study Program, I would like to extend my highest congratulations and appreciation to the Secretary of the Department, the accreditation document preparation committee, the TPMA Team, all lecturers, administrative staff, and the entire family of the Undergraduate Physics Study Program for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding togetherness, which have enabled the Undergraduate Physics Study Program to achieve Excellent Accreditation,” said Dr. Saumi Syahreza, S.Si., M.Si.

He further stated that this achievement was made possible through the synergy, commitment, and shared spirit of all parties in giving their best for the advancement of the study program.

“This achievement is the result of synergy, commitment, and a shared spirit in providing the best for the progress of the study program. May this success serve as motivation to continue improving quality, achievements, and academic services in the future,” he added.

The Excellent Accreditation status is expected to further strengthen the position of the Undergraduate Physics Study Program as a leading academic program in physics and science education. It also serves as an encouragement for the program to continue producing competent, competitive graduates who are ready to contribute to society, the nation, and the advancement of science.
