Prof. Dr.Eng. Nasrullah, S.Si,M.T
Prof. Dr.Eng. Nasrullah, S.Si., M.T., is a faculty member in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), with expertise in optics, electromagnetics, lasers, and spectroscopy. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from USK, a Master of Engineering in Opto-electrotechniques and Laser Applications from Universitas Indonesia, and a Doctor of Engineering in Fiber Amenity Engineering from the University of Fukui, Japan. He has held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Fukui and at the ENEA Frascati Research Centre in Italy, and has served as Secretary and Chairman of the Physics Department, as well as in leadership roles within the Physical Society of Indonesia (PSI) and the Japan University Alumni Association in Indonesia (PERSADA), Aceh chapter. His recent research focuses on laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) for environmental, geological, and material analysis, including volcanic and tsunami-affected soils, and the use of LIBS with artificial neural networks for food authentication. He leads and participates in national and international collaborations with universities in Indonesia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, has authored a copyrighted book on laser plasma spectroscopy, and regularly publishes in reputable journals while teaching in both the Bachelor’s and Master’s Physics programs at USK.
