Irhamni, S.Si, M.Si

Irhamni, S.Si., M.Si., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), with research interests in material physics and biomaterials. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from USK and his Master’s degree in Physics from Universitas Indonesia (UI). His research has included the modification of biodegradable polymer matrix composites using durian seed starch as an eco-friendly packaging material, alongside studies on hydroxyapatite synthesis from marine and animal bone sources, low-rank coal briquettes with rice husk additives, magnetic properties of iron sand, and the physical characteristics of traditional Acehnese salt for thermal energy storage applications. Over the last five years, he has been actively involved in educational collaborations and certified internship programs with government agencies and industry partners, including the BMKG Aceh Besar Geophysical Station and PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas, PT. Telkom Akses, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (PUPR), and Zainal Abidin General Hospital. A member of the Physical Society of Indonesia (PSI), Irhamni teaches in the Bachelor’s program in Physics at USK.
