This annual event, themed “Shaping Students of Character, Intelligence, and Integrity,” brought together physics students, lecturers, and alumni in a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere. ORBIT 2025 served as a strategic platform to strengthen the sense of community, academic connection, and professional networking within the Physics Department.

The day-long event featured a series of engaging and educational activities, including:
- Inspirational sessions with alumni sharing their academic and professional journeys;
- Casual discussions and networking among students, lecturers, and alumni;
- Collaborative team-building games designed to cultivate leadership, cooperation, and problem-solving skills.
The presence and participation of alumni played a vital role in inspiring students to envision their future paths and develop meaningful career plans. The event also fostered emotional bonds and a sense of belonging among all members of the Physics Department community.
Beyond its immediate impact, ORBIT 2025 embodies the spirit of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through experiential learning and character development, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by empowering students with career-relevant skills, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthened collaboration among students, faculty, and alumni.

The warm and enthusiastic atmosphere reflected the event’s success in nurturing students who are not only academically capable but also possess integrity, social awareness, and a collaborative mindset. The Department of Physics, FMIPA USK, fully supports this HIMAFIS initiative and hopes that ORBIT will continue as a sustainable program contributing positively to student development, character formation, and academic networking.
