The Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala, is pleased to invite academics, researchers, students, industry professionals, and the general public to attend an International Public Lecture entitled “The Hydrogen Puzzle: Solving Energy Storage Through Materials Innovation.”

As the global transition toward clean and sustainable energy accelerates, hydrogen has emerged as one of the most promising energy carriers for the future. However, efficient, safe, and cost-effective hydrogen storage remains a significant scientific and technological challenge. This public lecture will explore the latest advances in materials innovation that are driving the development of next-generation hydrogen storage technologies and supporting the transition to a low-carbon energy system.

The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Ankur Jain, Director of the Centre for Renewable Energy & Storage at Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, India. With extensive expertise in renewable energy technologies and advanced energy storage systems, Prof. Jain will share valuable insights into current research trends, technological breakthroughs, and future opportunities in hydrogen-based energy solutions.

The session will be moderated by Dr. Zulkarnain Jalil, S.Si., M.Si., Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala.
