The International MBKM Program is the first initiative of its kind organized by Syiah Kuala University, specifically by the USK Directorate of Education and Learning. This program is open to all students within the USK academic community. The International MBKM Program was warmly welcomed by the Dean and all study programs within the USK Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA). Support from the university administration was also demonstrated through the provision of incentive funds for students participating in the International MBKM activities. This initiative reflects USK’s commitment to achieving the status of a World Class University (WCU).

Furthermore, Dr. Saumi, as Department Chair, stated that this International MBKM program provides students with the opportunity to enhance the quality of their education and competencies, as well as to strengthen academic collaboration between the USK Physics Department and the School of Physics at USM. Dr. Saumi also noted that the students sent to USM are the top students who have passed the selection process within the USK Physics Program.
