The Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Syiah Kuala is pleased to announce that an on-site accreditation assessment by LAMSAMA will be conducted from April 13 to April 14, 2026.
This upcoming assessment represents an important milestone in the department’s continuous quality assurance efforts. It aims to comprehensively evaluate academic performance, governance, and learning outcomes, while ensuring alignment with national standards and the evolving needs of science and industry.
During the assessment, the appointed assessors will review key aspects of the program, including curriculum implementation, teaching and learning processes, research productivity, community engagement, as well as supporting facilities and infrastructure. A series of discussions and clarification sessions will also be held with faculty members, administrative staff, students, and relevant stakeholders.
The Department of Physics FMIPA USK warmly welcomes the visit of the assessors and looks forward to constructive feedback and valuable recommendations. This process is expected to further strengthen the department’s commitment to delivering high-quality education and producing graduates who are competent, adaptive, and globally competitive.
